  1. Kudos to Maria Shriver to educate people in regard to children and adults who have intellectual disabilities and also her brother Anthony for establishing Audit Best Buddies.

I have a special needs daughter and through out her lifetime she has had a very hard time fitting in with the “typically developing” children. Inclusion in vitally important to these children and they certainly can hold jobs and be productive members of the community.
In Portland, Oregon one very special organization is On The Move. Molly Mayo is the owner and Director and she does a wonderful job. She has over 55 clients who regularly go out in the community and participate in art and music events. Also wilderness activities and various community service projects.
You are definitely following in your parents footsteps, Sargent and Eunice Shriver. We have admired their dedicated work for years.
